Jean Mathews Wildervanck
Jean is the Director and Lead Facilitator of the Open Learning Community and regularly facilitates a wide range of workshops. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the Social Sciences (UFS and Unisa).
Her interest in theology and spirituality evolved out of the five years she was a contractual lecturer in the Divinity Department of Rhodes University. This expanded to an interest in World Religions when work commitments took her to South-East Asia and many East African countries.
The Enneagram Personality Profiler is another of her passions which she links to Emotional Intelligence in a team oriented process. She trained with, amongst others, Risso and Hudson when they visited South Africa in 2005. Her full CV is available on request.
Margo is a regular facilitator at the OLC. She is an academic and business person who strives to live consciously. She holds a Master's degree in Jewish Studies (UCT) and is a long time student of the works of Joseph Campbell, Jean Houston, James Hillman and Jean Shinoda Bolen. Margo looks at life through the lens of story and myth as these archetypal tales show us ‘the way out’ of our current difficult situations. She lectured for many years at UCT before moving to the Eastern Cape in 2003 and founding Blue Anchor Real Estates.
We regularly invite speakers to share their field of expertise with the audience.
On many a Saturday morning Nikki's Coffee and Connect hosts speakers covering a wide variety of topics. The hour long talks are followed by coffee, questions and the opportunity to socialize.
You are welcome to contact us should you have an interesting topic you would like to share or know more about.
